Unfortunately I missed Annika Aakjær's gig in Fælledparken on May first as I saw Emma Acs in another tent, but she told me, that she had a double concert on the next Thursday at Forbrændingen. A welcome opportunity for me to get pictures of both Annika and Thomas Buttenschøn.
I saw Thomas Buttenschøn 5 years ago at Lades Kælder, before he had recorded his first album, and you can see the three photos I did of his set, two of them never published before. The complete singer-songwriter event can be viewed here.
The artists gave a nice, relaxed show including long spoken intros the the songs and a lot of humour. Both artists gave newly written and unrecorded songs together with wellknown material from their back catalogues. A few times they did back-up vocals on each other's songs.
