Antophones use to be a band of six musicians with musical baggrounds in Under Byen, Western Stars, Sorten Muld to mention the bands I'm familiar with. So it's easy to imagine that Antophones' music is in that style, melancolic, 60's style singer/song writer tradition. Very beautiful and with lyrics from songwriter Lise Blaase's feminine univers.
Unfortunately there was problems with the equipment before they even started, so the set of songs were shortend by half an hour.
I should like to hear some more from this talented girls, this evening performing as a duo as the opening band of the HolmenEvent 05 at Holmen in Copenhagen.
I had a brief talk with Lise Blaase after their limited set and she gave me their four song demo-album containing some very beautiful songs.

I'm sure that it's not the last time I attend a concert with Antophones.
They seem to have a lot to offer their audeince.
