Aura
Café Pixie, Copenhagen
19. March 2008

When I heard Song For Spohie for the first time in the radio, I got excatly the same experience as when I heard Freya singing Yellow Ladybird for the first time some 10 years earlier.
Namely the feeling of hearing a young talented artist and knowing that what you hear is no doubt becoming a big shot! So I bought her debut album on the very release day.

Aura is exactly the kind of artist that I love: A very visual artist making wonderful pop-tunes. Aura has got more common features with Freya than the music: She holds the same charismatic personality, appearing shy and fragile and strong and powerful at the same time.

I expect Aura to become a big star in the future, as her music has got a very international sound, and I hope to get to take a lot of photos of this gifted and beautiful artist.

You can visit her myspace profile here.
