Kira & The Kindred Spirits
Rådhuspladsen, Copenhagen
10. September 2005

Best Danish live band, Kira & The Kindred Spirits, played their last job on The Summer 2005 Tour celebrating The 100 Anniversary of Copenhagen City Hall at a free concert this Indian Summer night. Other bands at the scene were The Loft and Johnny Deluxe (see the pictures by clicking on the band names).

They were full of energy as usual, maybe even more this night, as they played the songs from their two albums live for the last time.
Kira and the boys are going to make studio recordings of their new material in near future, so at their coming concerts, they'll mainly play songs from their third upcoming album.
They are planning to collect some sample footage from various live performances on a promotinal dvd - not for sale - for branding purposes in the U.S. I can't imagine anothe Danish band more fit for the international market!

The set list was slightly different from what I've heard before. Many of the wellknown live-standards were ommitted, but unfortunately they didn't play any of the new songs. But some of them were changed compared to earlier versions.
We got a great opener with a rocky version of Twenty Nights, and the closing song, before the encore, was an extented version of Do You Want Me with a long instrumental ending.
As can be seen below, Kira appeared beautiful and sexy as usual!
Enjoy ...
