I've photographed Maria Viskonti 8 times before, and I've followed this great talent since 2004. As I've have stated before I consider Maria to be one of the most neglected new artists at the Danish music scene!
She has recorded three albums, all containing an exciting mix of American 60's style music, mingled by her own folk / pop / rock music. Very personal and interesting.

At Rust she performed two songs from each of her two first albums and five songs from her most recent, third album, Knock Knock. And finally a new and unrecorded song, Farewell To Your Arms, which is still in the recording / mixing phase together with four - five more new songs.

Maria Viskonti is still waiting for a well-deserved break-through on a larger scale.
