The talented all-girl
trio, Me, She & Her had a major hit in 1995 with the song I
Count The Minute from their only album, Best Times (see
cover below). They are: Trille Palsgaard, Susanne Marcussen
and Pernille Dan. (Susanne later changed har last
name to Palsbøll). I saw them live at stage twice in 1995,
but the only time I brought my camera was at this performance at Amager, near
Copenhagen. Shortly after they split as a trio, but they continued as back-up
singers for a large number of artists, both individually and all together - most
recently at DR's Big Christmas Show in December 2003. Trille Palsgaard
is still very active as a choir-girl backing many artists. In early 2005 she appeared
in Scenen er din at DR-1, and she has been working on a solo project
for some years now. Susanne Palsbøll sings in several
bands and she is at the moment working at a solo R'n'B project, and with a gospel
and a jazz project as well. She is also working as a vocal croach and - producer
for Alex, Nellie Ettison, Bombay Rockers
a.o. Pernille Dan is running a shop in Hellerup, but I don't
know if she is still performing or recording.
I believe that the trio will
be mainly remembered for the hit single, I Count the Minutes, but
live they did some excellent covers. I'll never forget the beautiful version of
the Beatles classic, Because, which they gave at Pumpehuset
on 30. November 1995. Best song in my opinion is the live version of So
Into You, wonderfully performed by Trille Palsgaard. Below
scannings of colour prints can be seen.
