This eve's concert
by Randi Laubek was the best experience for me with Randi
as a live performer 'till this day.
We got a nice mix of songs from her back
catalogue together with songs from her most recent album - the best from her,
in my opinion. I liked the variations during the concert - from the highligt of
this night, the wonderful ballad, My King Has Come (extremely beautiful)
to the rough New Beginning and What You Feel Like,
both ending in almost heavy metal versions!
Randi Laubek's backing
musicians were brilliant!!! Jonas Berg made a wonderful jazzy keyboard
improvisation in Lodesterlodestone.
This time Randi
generously gave her permission for me to take pictures during the entire concert
(instead og merely during the three opening songs), and this is a must if you
want many photos to select from, and the only way to ensure getting a good result,
- so many thanks to Randi for that!
We got a second encore,
Free, which Randi claimed never to have played live
before.
