I've been waiting for this event to happen for at long time: The release of the debut album of Denmark's best live band. Taking place at Søpavillionen in the center of Copenhagen a lot of dedicated fans, friends and people from the music business gathered at this charming venue to celebrate the release of an this excellent album.
A few hours prior to the Release Party the band had played in front of an entusiastic audience at Hovedbanegården (The Central Main Station). See the photos here.
I've been familiar with the live versions of the music for more than a year, so I've been looking foreward to listening to the "studio-versions". Being recorded live-in-the-studio they have kept the vitality and roughness I love by ReBound Rubies.
I met a lot of people that I knew adding several new contacts with musicians and business people.
The sound at Søpavillionen was pretty good and we got an encore not on the pre-written set list, namely Loosing Another Soldier.
At the bottom of this page you can see some portraits of a small part of the attending guests and the signed album cover as well.
