Saybia
Store Vega, Copenhagen
7. October 2004

This was not my first Saybia concert, but the only time, I've brought my camera. They were the last of the major Danish rock icons that I had to catch in pictures!
They played a brilliant concert for a very entusiastic audience. Now - unlike the Roskilde 2004 show - mixing old and new material. So we got 5 songs from their debut album and one previously unreleased song (No. 16). This 12 minutes song closing the show was build up almost as a symphonie, starting very quiet with a beautiful organ. It reached its crecendo in the middle of the song and ended with a reprice of the organ, which opened the song. This still untitled song was (together with I Surrender) the highlight for me of this night's performance.

We were only allowed to make photographs during the three opening songs, and were even told to hand over our cameras to the security after that. Very unusual! So below you can see the pictures, which I after all managed to take at that limited time.

(Many thanks to Sarah S. for the set list).
