Shirley released her debut album already in 1996 and it was pretty ahead of its time when we speak of Danish releases. Her soft soul vocals reminds me of the famous american female singers and the album was made with help from the team, Anders Schumann and Tue Röh from Zapp Zapp.
Her very first public solo performance took place at 5-øren on 27. July 1997 and at stage she got vocal support from Arvid Finn Nielsen, who sang the additional vocals.
