Upcoming
band, Stripclubjunkies, performed as part of e
trible concert sharing the bill with two other Danish bands,
Aya and Kira and the Kindred Spirits (see
their photo sides).
Stripclubjunkies
is one of the new bands representing the (what might be called)
post-electronic-rock wave at the Danish music scene together
with bands as Kira and the Kindred Spirits, Sparkler
and many more. Maybe as a result of satietyness from the synthetic
instruments used in tecno music, the audience now want back-to-basis
rock music, founded on the classical instruments, guitar, bass
and drums. Instead of glamour and make-up they want to see sweet
and energy on stage.
And
so they got that evening from this very well-playing band with
charming Stine Larsen in front. She is also the
songwriter of the band. T-Shirt Man and Stripclub
Junkie is heavily played in Danish National Radio, P3,
and were performed together with most of the songs on the debut
album. Everybody who dig The Rolling Stones will love Stripclubjunkies.
Nice to listen to that old sound again!
