Tanja Appehl

My all time favorite newcomer on the Danish music scene, the wonderfully talented and beautiful, Tanja Appehl, surprised once again by changing her sound completely compared to the many times I've herad her so far! At this intimate concert at Lades she had re-arranged most of the songs to full band rocking versions!
After the four opening songs backed by merely the guitarist and the choir girl, Tanja performed a full rock set of her normally soft and melancolic songs. Maybe the new bassplayer and the new drummer were part of the reason for the change. A very exciting experience!

Tanja had clearly improved as a stage performer, and she seemed much more selfconfident on stage. Maybe therefore she looked even more beautiful than usual.

After the concert I made a band photo and a few portraits of Tanja and her choir girl, Cecilie, whom might be a coming solo artist herself? Anyway she's working on some music on her own. See the bottom of this page.
