Pernille Vallentin
Release Party
LUUX, Copenhagen

13. October 2006

Monday October 9th 2006 Pernille Vallentin released her debut album, Between Butterflies and Me, - a spectacular album produced by Chief 1. Pernille's vocal sounds like a mix of Pernille Rosendahl and Freya, and the mood of the music on the album could be compared with the music of Swan Lee.
We face a multitalented new artist, already known for her role in the film Nordkraft, and this fall Pernille is playing a character in an upcoming movie by director Lone Scherfig.

At the Release Party at LUUX Pernille made her first ever stage performance with her band, playing 7 songs from the album. She appeared smaller than I've expected, but filled out the stage with her charming charisma and her sensitive voice.
After the concert I did some portraits of this beautiful elf (see the bottom of this page) and I experienced how sweet and kind she is as well.
