I've heard Tanja Appehl performing as a solo artist, as a full band project, as a duo and this night at Østerbrohuset's trible concert I experienced the trio version: Tanja on vocals, her gutarist, Michael, and a long-time girlfreind, Celilie Maluna, on back-up vocals.
I can't decide which version I prefer, - Tanja is brilliant whatever she does. As I've claimed so many times before, she's my all time favorite new artist on the Danish newcomer scene.

Tanja is for the moment in the process of writing, recording demo material and looking for a record company to release her music. What a treasure for the right company to get Tanja under their wings. I can't recomment her strongly enough.

The other performers this night was the also very talented Benjamin Lylloff (see here) and the Danish language trio, Tundra (see here).
